SHS Learning Journey 5

Day 5 of my journey me and my group went to the Lewis Pass Scenic Reserve, I found a tree that looked very interesting, but then i got lost of my track when i was taking a photo. It was hard looking for them i'm 5 time's faster than a few of my friends, I looked for some foot steps of my group i just walk staring at the foot steps, Then there was 2 tracks 10 separated in to 2 groups i ran to the right but they were at the left that's when I heard foot steps at the left. Quickly ran back & I chose left but I hate stairs going up I went up their was a rock slide even its not a slide I slide down it and jumped up and landed. I finally caught up with them but I was tiered... I walked up to them. I fell asleep for 8 minutes my group was gone again i ran to the van and it was not their i saw the van leaving so ran to the group van i was so annoyed one of my said John is hanging on the van¨ *laughs*but it was not funny. after all I was holding a huge stick and i slammed it to the van window so they know I was right there the other van saw me and they were the girls van my group van went to the side. i was finally in my group van.

SHS Learning Journey 4

The Farewell Spit has many beached whales when i went there in the first time, It was sad for the whale dying many people helped the whales then i helped the people who was saving when i was helping luckily brought 5 buckets, I filed it up, then I slowly tipped the bucket, the water ran down to the whale and pushed slowly when each bucket of water was tipped on the whale but there were 8 whales died the whale I pushed was alive when i thought the whale died and i accidentally farted on a died whale.

Farewell Spit fishing should be banned because it kills Hector dolphins. how? It harms the Hector dolphins and suffocate the Hector dolphins. Hector dolphins are spacial to the human that likes dolphins. The Hector dolphins are nearly extincted.

Bliss Balls

Bliss Balls

I've heard a blender start when we're making bliss balls and it was fun making bliss balls when we were making the bliss balls it looks like a mud and felt like mud and i watched Josh ate it and it was funny when we we’re done we rolled it at the cocoa powder and nearly all the people ate the bliss balls only 2 didn't eat the bliss balls. We did eat it for fun, the 7 ate one that they made and they said “it's yum” so i tried one and it's Delius.

The bliss balls are amazing and it was fun with little fort to make 10 bliss balls it is fun than playing! Bakings is fun with friends or family and it is fun with both.

weather art

This term we have been learning about weather. In art I created a stormy night picture.

First I made a silhouette with black paper and used white crayon and made broken buildings.

Next used dye to make the background the color was light blue to dark blue.

Then I dabbed and jabbed with black paint on the top and placed it slowly on the art.

and know I made the lightning with white paint used a small paint brush and make it as trees.

antarctic description

Over the last few weeks, during literacy we have been learning about Antarctica wee visited Antarctic Center and read lots of information about Antarctica. I wrote a description about  Antarctica and a story about a Day in the life in Antarctica.

we have been learning about life cycle and how they grow this is the life cycle that i made  we have been making life cycles my one is an adult ant male they should do the egg,larva form, cocoon form and the adult form we have been messing around to the writing and reading at the same time.
