Things that fly

FLIGHT

Aim: To learn about flight and aerodynamics. 

  • In your groups of 3 you will make a paper plane and measure its distance and behaviour.
  • In groups of 3 you will make a water rocket and record its distance and behaviour.

4 forces of flight:

  1.   Gravity
  2.   Thrust
  3.   Drag
  4.   Lift
Paper Plane:

Material:

1. 1 paper
2. ruler
3. paper clip

Steps:

1. fold the paper in half make sure it is made as a long strip
2. the 2 triangles at the top, the corner of the triangle should go up to the lines
3. fold the side with the triangle with the tip of the triangle close to half, then make 2 more triangles, do the same thing at the (2nd line), fold the small triangle up then fold it into a half, then fold the wings make sure they are the same then your done.

P.E hurumanu

P.E hurumanu


Our activity was cross-court games . For this activity I rated my self as a level 1

To achieve at level 3 we have to show that we can consistently talk to each other and let people join in, rather than letting people do anything

During the game of cross-court games I showed that I am working at level 1 by having a negative influence on my team and my team did not let me help by any chance, These examples show that I have meet the standard for level 1. 


While playing the Cross-court games, something that I found challenging was my team blaming the looses on me The reason I found this challenging was because I did not feel trusted and I felt like my team does not need me.

However, I managed to overcome this challenge by ignoring that fact and trying to join in.


Next week I am aiming to work at level 4 To make sure that I am working that level I am going to work on being level 3 by being as a normal player of the game and encouraging people with words and by helping out the team.

Its cool to be Kind

This is a student from HHS last week we have made posters and DLOS, on HHS C.I.P the group 'Its Cool To Be Kind' we decided to do mufty we voted for best idea we had currently and the most votes was theme Radical Rainbow, others had good ideas but we chose something the people may or may not like the idea but thats okay if don't like it it's their choice not ours.


What was the planning process: We made different ideas with names and what it was.
How did we come up with our theme: We voted on the best idea for thursday.
Who are we raising money for: We are raising money to donate to kidscan so kids will have essentials to live normally with others.
What do you know about them: Kids Can is a place that gets money for children in need.
What makes a successful Mufti Day: People wearing and donating gold coins for Kids Can.
 What jobs did you have/will you have: To make posters to make people care for children that does not have the essentials to live.
 How is this spreading Kindness to our community: We are spreading kindness by giving it or donating it to show that we care.

Buddy Holly changed the Genre of Rock.

This week in our P.E Hurumanu we have been



Our first activity was running . For this activity we had to run to get 100 pt/points.
During the first warm up was running I showed that I am working at level 3 by counting correctly on the points we got and I tried to participate in the warm up These examples show that I have meet the standard for level 3.



Our second activity was hockey . For this activity I rated my self as a 3.
To achieve at level 4 we have to show that we can consistently talk
what is happening to our surroundings than doing it our own way.
During the first game of hoey I showed that I am working at level 3
by not using more than my own strength and I barely even talked
to any one These examples show that I have meet the standard for level 3



Our third activity was football . For this activity I rated my self as a 3.
To achieve at level 4 we have to show that we can consistently be
better than we are now.
During the first game of foot ball I showed that I am working at 3
by playing fairly and not arguing to
the one that kick the ball into to my private part These examples
show that I have meet the standard for
level 4.


Next week I am aiming to work at 4 To make sure that I am working
that level I am going to work on talking to people by encouraging them
and start using more than
110% but at 200%.

our teacher told us to make a song/lyrics that is important to us or in our memory or something that happened to us.
it is not so bling like gold it's bad even though its a remake of my other one, I don't even know what the other one ment, I did a lot of playing around with things about fish flakes and sea pickles but its a half thing. but please tell me anything that I need to work on.
